AC? For maybe 20 days per year?

Maybe if combined with heating in an air to air heat exchanger, it makes sense, but AC on its own?

Agreed if it's a fixed a/c only system but why even consider this when the cost of reversible systems can't be much more assuming the fixed a/c only unit is available.
My kitchen 3.5 kW (ish) reversible air/air unit is brilliant & costs around €1.1/10 hr day average to run in winter.(10 x0.8kw input x 0.6 weather factor x say €.23/kw) I've two other newer consule units which are not run much but should be similar figures.
20 days cooling per year maybe, I've never counted, but worth every centime during these heat wave prone days.
