33 spams today - is that a record?

A further 30 in the afternoon making a total of 63 - nearly all saying there is a parcel in transit or I have won something. No big deal they just get deleted

Just had an updated one from “La Poste” now they’ve changed the date to Saturday 30th December, but it’s still the same delivery number.

Its not the stupid scammers we need to be aware of. Its the clever ones. I suggest the only way to be on top of things is to take steps to read about all the latest scams and how they work. There are websites explaining this stuff. If you read enough of them you gain a sixth sense and stand a much better chance of seeing it coming.

I'm sharing a recent email reply from a gynaecologist whom I've emailed. Below follows his reply;

Merci, de ta réponse, pour tout dire, ce n'est pas la joie en ce moment, depuis une semaine, on m'a découvert un cancer colorectal Stade 4 avancé que je n'ai voulu en parler à personne, toutefois, j'aimerais que cela soit confidentiel. Actuellement, je suis dans un centre spécialisé pour divers examens et analyses plus poussées chez un spécialiste (cancérologue) qui m'a fait 2 examens et j'attends encore l'écho. J'ai besoin que tu me rendes un tout petit service, répond moi par mail s'il te plaît, car je suis en salle d'observation pour d'autres examens et les téléphones ne sont pas autorisés.

My turn! I knew we'd just cancelled a Prime membership, after a free trial (on a different date), but just received two emails with this heading:

"Mounthly Payment Failur: Our payment merchant has rejecteds your renewal membership. Your renewal Prime subscription was schaduled to renew on Sunday, December 18, 2022."

Someone at least needs to activate spell check! That sounds as if the Gendarme from Allo Allo is reading it!

At least they got the day right. The latest update for me is Saturday the 5th Jan. These guys need a calendar

I know I'm not very good with days of the week but I didn't realise it was Friday today, gosh doesn't time fly.
