Questions about Jubilee

Well I've just had a look in and I'm pleased to see Her Maj looking very happy indeed. The weather's shining for everyone and all those folk on the mall and elsewhere look as though they are having a much needed good time so here's to all who are celebrating - cheers 🥂.
With this hand, I will lift your sorrows. Your cup will never be empty, for I will be your wine. With this candle, I will light your way into darkness. With this ring, I ask you to be mine.........The Corpse Bride

The Duke of York has tested positive for Covid and will no longer attend the jubilee Service of Thanksgiving for the Queen at St Paul’s Cathedral, Buckingham Palace has said.
Oh dear, what a shame!
Thing is, if the Randy one, from whom everyone is keeping their distance, has got it, what chance do us plebs have of avoiding the lurgy.
'Course it could just be a good excuse put out by Maj who doesn't really want him there

Probably picked it up in Pizza Express. Headline in the DT says " Andrew pulls out of St. Paul's service" -- not the first time he has pulled out!

At the end of the day he is her son, I'm sure she would like all her children there, I would, wouldn't you?

I would have thought HE would be too ashamed to show his face in public ever again. He seems to have no shame.

Ah, nice one, Macron - a gift to Queenie for Jubilee:

https://www.reuters.com/world/uk/queen- ... M_uoHqyrWI

"PARIS, June 2 (Reuters) - President Emmanuel Macron has given Queen Elizabeth a horse belonging to the French Republican Guard to mark her jubilee, describing the monarch as the "golden thread" that had bound France and Britain during her 70-year reign.

Macron later paid tribute to the queen during a flame rekindling ceremony at the Arc de Triomphe monument, where he laid a wreath at the tomb of the unknown soldier in the presence of Britain's ambassador to France, Menna Rawlings.

Elizabeth is known for her love of horses. Fabuleu de Maucour, the seven-year-old grey gelding gifted by Macron, escorted the president down the Champs Elysees in Paris last month as part of an official ceremony, Macron's office said.
