Livret A - a little good news
So inflation is pushing 6% and they are paying me 2% on my Livret A. So I am only loosing 4%. Might as well spend it and push the inflation rate higher. I can’t see much as to what the govt is doing to get inflation down

Ditto the UK .. due to family commitments I have some money stashed away in an easy access UK savings account and it certainly isn't paying anywhere near 2% tax free.
