Back in the Uk I had a shotgun + licence for it, once you had your licence it was for keeps, a Firearms certificate is a different ball game, it really doesn't matter what licence you need the only people that will apply for one are the honest ones, you are supposed to have a driving licence, there is a hell of a lot that do not. My wood supplier had a strong room built for his collection, he was a collector and a member of a local gun club, I was invited to join, but too far away, and too busy looking after the DW.
