I've had this ear worm of a tune going round in my head for days.
Just looked it up & found it's an ancient Christmas carol.
How very apt :)

Goodness, that brings back memories. I was a huge Steeleye/Fairport Convention fan in the early 70s but was less keen on them later - too commercial sounding.
I went to a concert in Cornwall (St Austell ?) in about 1982. Brilliant, but far too loud !!!

Well, they all seemed to be suffering from earache.

I've used earplugs for years at concerts, particularly if I'm working. I don't know how people stand the noise.
Try standing near a Breton bombarde .... it is deafening, definitely an earplug job for any musicians playing with one in the group !

I hope all went well for everyone and that humans and animals are full and happy.

Only outstanding issue/task is to decide when to take the decorations down.

Bye the way - What do you call somebody who hangs around with musicians? ......................... A drummer!

Seasons greetings to you all.
We're celebrating with family in the UK. The wind has only just let up.
Grey, wet and windy. Quite depressing weather.
