Cheers, I'll have a butchers.
Does it deal with vegetation & branches?
provided you don’t stuff it full of just vegetation - yes. It is a beast. We have done hours of chipping. Makes great horizontal compost. Very frugal on petrol too. Ours has a 400cc B&S motor.

Do you have a reference for the model you bought?

How much did you pay. I've found one for over 2,000€ & another for just under 1,000€? Same ref etc.

I recall it being about 1600 euros with free delivery (in the middle of Covid). I know they offered the same chipper with different engines. The B&S was the more expensive one.

I have found a site that indicates the webname has been nicked. Yellow pages has them down as an agent immobilier. Their contact phone number is an 07 mobile number. I can only recommend dealing with agricolt as they delivered the goods as ordered.
I’ve also looked on Google Earth and the place National looks like a tourist area full of restos.

Thanks for looking.

Not the only one concerning expensive garden machinery. I found an ad for a large rideon mower a year or two ago. Wide cut, diesel engine, etc. listed for a couple of thousand euros less than the competition. When you researched the business it seemed they were listed as resellers for garden stuff but the postal address (on Google streetview) turned out to be a domestic premises and apparently hadn't been trading for about three years.
Be careful out there before ordering any high value item online. A quick Google using the terms "Is so-and-so an arnaque?" Will often strike useful info.
Humanity landed on the moon over fifty years ago but it seems too much to ask for a reliable telephone/internet service in rural France.
