After all the peach & plum trees are in full bloom so whatcha waiting for Jack? Your late appearance has done for 'em for the last 3 years so why should this'un be any different.

3C forecast for next Monday. If you've got the wherewithal to collect grass mowings, making heaps under fruit trees can stave off frost damage.

We have apple, cherry, and plum trees. Only the cherry has any sign of life at the moment. About a quarter inch of green leaf shoots. All the rest are looking quite dead.
Blossom, what's that?

Whether that works or not I've just done that and saved a lot of walking to get rid of the cuttings.
