I was never a fan, but got Amazon Prime and started watching the Expanse and got hooked plus the wheel of time, which I’m enjoying but it’s not quite faithful to the books.

Disney channel has Get Back, the Beatles last album. It’s really excellent but a little intense. I was amused that they used subtitles for the audio.

I hardly ever watch any UK TV these days, though I can.

Any comments on your preferences?

Ah, now you've done it! Getting hooked on the Expanse, you'll never be satisfied with any other Sci Fi film/series again. I know someone who's read the books and she says it's been kept true to the Author's writings. My son and I binge-watched the first couple of series together, when we had particularly bad weather (good excuse!) - and we just "lived" Expanse for several days! Saddos! We're currently watching Series 6 (I think!), that just releases a new episode once a week - so we can't overdose on it!

Another I really got into was Fringe. Although, didn't like the first episode - found it a bit weird. So tried again another time to watch the second series, got to know the characters and never looked back. I do like the sort of FBI Thriller meets futuristic Sci-Fi touch, so it ticked many boxes, although quite gruesome at times.

Currently ploughing through Black List, which is on a similar vein, but has taken much longer to "bond" with the characters.

What's your preferred genre?

Agree about The Expanse - it’s unusual to see an SF series that gets the Physics of space travel right whilst still being exciting to watch. Quite enjoyed Ted Lasso on Apple. My wife enjoyed Invasion (Apple again) but I was a bit meh, same reaction to Foundation. Orphan Black (Netflix) also worth watching if a bit gruesome at times.

Just finished the Get Back series on Disney. It’s scary because the final episode was filmed 50 years ago, they have the full rooftop recording. There are people in bowler hats complaining about the noise and most people who stopped to listen, really enjoying it.

I would recommend watching it because you see genius musicians take ideas to legendary music. There is a brief view of George Harrison starting to write what is probably one of the greatest love songs ever written

Sorry to answer your question late - anything that interests me.

No apologies needed!

I don't have the Disney channels, but that does look really interesting. Another SciFi series that we watched on Apple, as we had a free period of subscription with them, was "For All Mankind".

"The series dramatizes an alternate history depicting "what would have happened if the global space race had never ended" after the Soviet Union succeeds in the first crewed Moon landing ahead of the United States."

Absolutely brilliant and believable - and excellent acting with some favourite actors in there, which is always a make or break issue with me!
