Why is vintage audio booming?
So far I didn't have to install a Take-A-Number system in front of our house to keep lines fair and in order. (Non) business as usual. Robert's Repairshop is always open, 24/7, only four or five clients a year, family members and friends. Audio equipment, tellies, VHS recorders and even an echo sounder of an inland vessel. Rising demand for my OBD2 reader. There is still hope for my cold soldering iron: vintage audio is booming.

The death of the in-car CD player: New cars now digital only
The last new car on sale in Britain featuring an in-car CD player has been updated – with the CD player being replaced by a modern touchscreen unit.
It concludes the gradual demise of CD players in new cars and follows the in-car cassette player to the great scrapyard in the sky.
The last new car with a standard cassette player, the Lexus SC430 was sold in 2009. Tape players were replaced by CD players – and ironically, an even more modern form of music has led to the demise of the CD player.

I like my tape player in the Volvo - but only to fit a Bluetooth adapter to play the radio off my phone

Why is vintage audio booming?
I hope it is booming as part of our sell up and go program is a '70s Pioneer separates, sound system, then a Yamaha surround sound set up with all the speakers and a fabulous Kenwood powered sub, where to market them is now the question.
