Little rant alert - when broadcasters refer to left-handed players, they call them "lefties" and it always sounds like a derogatory term, as opposed to right-handed players still being called "right-handed".
As a "leftie", I feel offended!

Don't ! In the days when I did fencing (the sport ...) it was considered to be an advantage to be a leftie. I write with my right hand but do quite a lot with my left hand, perhaps it's playing musical instruments makes me weird

Couldn't get the orange curacao, so used triple sec and orange oil/extract. Chucked in cucumber and mint and topped up (mostly) with sprite lemonade. That'll do for me!exile wrote: ↑Mon Jul 01, 2024 6:13 pm Home made Pimms
1 measure Gin (preferably a 40%+ if you can find it)
1 measure Red vermouth
1 measure Orange curacao
Allow to mix for an hour or so before adding lemonade (a dry clear sparkling lemonade)
Add a slice of lemon, orange, cucumber and a sprig of borage and mint.
Not quite the same but on a dark foggy night after you have just finished your super hot vindaloo, you might not spot the difference.

Good to see Emma Raducanu enjoying her tennis again....I have to admit that I thought she was a busted flush . Should be a fun pairing with Andy as well !
