Quite normal for singles players who are advancing well in the draw to give up on their doubles schedule.

Perhaps less normal though when the the other person in the pairing is one of the UK's current sports heroes, and the mixed doubles would have been his final Wimbledon appearance.

It really was no more than en exhibition match in many ways & Emma is right to prioritise her chances in the singles.

Andy Murray doesn't do exhibition matches and I think Emma Raducanu will come to regret her decision.

Andy has played many exhibition matches, at Hurlingham, at the ATP tour final.........................
