A Western series gentle enough to be classified as children's' TV, a virtual to anyone who knows what the sign-off dialogue "Hey Cisco...Hey Pancho" comes from.

Someone mentioned Ready, Steady, Go but there was also The Six Five Special.

The Interludes, potter's wheel, floating down the Thames, London to Brighton in 5 minutes. I always wanted to see what was round the next bend when on the Thames. Not sure if these ever occurred on Children's TV but they stuck in my mind at a very young age.

Re: Earliest Memories of Children's TV
I just remembered another.
Ramar of the Jungle. 1952 to 1954, might not have made it across the Atlantic.
I was always intrigued by him rolling around on the ground wrestling a lion or tiger. Or some small stunt man in a fur coat. Several episodes on Youtube if you fancy a laugh.

Humanity landed on the moon over fifty years ago but it seems too much to ask for a reliable telephone/internet service in rural France.

Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons, Black Beauty, and The White Horses which must have been a repeat because it was in black and white.
