With jazz thrown in at times.
Same here Doug and the only thing I dislike is opera and men singing contre-tenor. There are some really good interviews with musicians, conductors etc with some surprising stories.

We just love to see on tv, Philippe Jaroussky a wonderful contre-tenor,
But there are some female sopranos I can't stand.

It was Aardvark Blues FM (Live365)......or so it says on the internet radio. The content varies from fantastic to seriously boring. But the best thing is there is virtually no yap yap and ads are few and far between.
That would be a decent username......

I was fortunate to sing in Ashford Choral and the Stour music choir for 4 years with Mark Dellar (counter tenor) as the conductor. His father, Alfred Dellar was a well known counter tenor.

If you have a tablet or smartphone you could listen to any online radio during the night.
There are significant changes to BBC medium and longwave broadcasts from 1 April 2024 https://www.bbc.co.uk/reception/work-wa ... to-radio-4
https://radiotoday.co.uk/2024/03/date-s ... equencies/

Long wave transmissions will cease by 2025.

Ah, you must have noticed I use that on another forum. Not after the radio station but the name of a rock band I used to play with in the 60s.
Humanity landed on the moon over fifty years ago but it seems too much to ask for a reliable telephone/internet service in rural France.

Read a report today by a bbc producer that bbc will shut down soon on satellite, only be online.
