Because of thicker tiles the wiring for some sockets needs to be extended by a couple of cm. I think dominos might be a bit bulky. Is there something more appropriate? If possible could you provide an Amazon.fr reference. Thanks

Go for WAGO connectors, the 221 type, orange (number 3):

Lessons from my father, a long time ago: always lay extra circles of wire inside a back box, might be convenient in the future for another type of socket or switch....These little 221 WAGO connectors feel comfy even in a confined space. More compact: the 2273 splicing connector, only solid copper conductors.

I have always tried to leave extra length tails inside the back boxes but its not always easy. The boxes are usually just deep enough to swallow the bulk of the sockets. Especially the cheapo Brico ones. Too shallow.
On my headstone it will say: Please switch off mobile phones. I'm trying to get some sleep.
