I have these installed. Much cheaper and makes a big difference in any weather.
Remember, you need a power source nearby and all plumbing parts are provided.

These seats do not use much power being 12v trace heated. The power is used when the bidet functions to heat the water and then for just a minute. Guests here complain bitterly that they do not have one at home.

Same here, Doug, we've always used torches - I remember my parents doing the same. Can't say I've ever found the loo seat cold but it's easy enough to balance just above it in a semi-squat position !

There are plenty of solutions for keeping the seat warm

Does each member of the family has their own ??

Yes, a bidet, warm water, autoretractable jet lance, warm air drying fan, antiseptic UV LED shines into the bowel so no missing at night. Slow closing seat and lid. I have no shares in this outfit, but I can recommend them and their after sales service is exceptional.
PS toilet roll consumption is negligible
