Linky meter, again

Last year my Linky meter was replaced because, apparently it was not communicating with home. Now they want to do it again, for the same reason, apparently. Are these things so fragile?

No. Haven't you been keeping up with "tech" news?
A.I. is dipping its toe into self awareness.
Maybe linky just doesn't want to play the game any more. 8-)

LINKY error messages.

What was exactly the fault condtion?

And yes, they are less robust than these guys, a lot of sensitive electronic componenets inside and a rather rudimentary surge protection.

They said it wasnt sending them my consumption info. I opened the box and the Linky is dead. I wonder if the thing got wet when the front garden flooded.

I am sure mine is up the creek 1700€ for 2 months, unbelievable, they seem very reluctant to send out an engineer and if the meter is working properly after being checked I get a huge bill for the attendance.

I just had a look at their official list of charges for interventions, etc. It is ten years out of date but some of the charges could bring on a heart attack.

They are coming of their own volition whenever they can be bothered.

I had an appointment with Enedis two weeks ago to upgrade the linky fuse. no show and no further contact. Thanks to RA I could find a site page to try to get it sorted. Now I await a new appointment, breath holding is NOT advised.
