Nope, it's slightly off topic, but the article definitely refers to SUVs

Electric Cars - fire risks

I'm starting to see posts on "car" forums where people are asking what the hell is an SUV anyway? Sports? Nothing sporty or enjoyable to drive on a twisty road in my view. Too ready to fall over at the least provocation. Utility? Few of them have as much space as a normal estate car.
Humanity landed on the moon over fifty years ago but it seems too much to ask for a reliable telephone/internet service in rural France.

It’s strange how ICE fires don’t encourage the same hysteria.

ICE fires are less drastic than EV fires - see earlier post of a water tank to stop an EV reigniting. Never seen that required for an ICE fire.

You seem to be clutching at straws. Scaremongering even. The fact is that any car fire is rare but the anti electric brigade are big up incidents involving EVs. Any car fire is potentially dangerous, having a fire in a vehicle containing perhaps 70 litres of highly flammable liquid is hardly something to ignore. You are coming over as an misinformed fool.

I am sorry that the German Fire Brigades are mis-informed fools who waste their money on the water tanks shown above.

But what would they know? They only have to extinguish them.
