A very good point - many tyre places won't touch a "gooed" tyre. Another wonderful idea to save the manufacturers money whilst screwing over the customer!

A tyre full of the "tyre sealant" goo that some manufacturers give you instead of a proper spare wheel.

Sorry misread BD's post thought he said you must do, no that crap never had much luck with that only on the ride on mower.

I've had the misfortune to deal with a mower tyre full of that sh*t. No wonder the tyre shops don't want to know.
Humanity landed on the moon over fifty years ago but it seems too much to ask for a reliable telephone/internet service in rural France.

There are two types, at least

post-puncture - e.g your car kit - a can of a sort of rubber crazy foam plus a compressor

pre-puncture - used by alot of horticultural people - a green goop that remains as a liquid in inner tubes and if you drive over thorns etc it seals the damage - like OKO
