I had to buy a block and tackle for an urgent lifting job that we couldn’t manage.
Had a look at various suppliers and Amazon had the best deal with fast delivery.
Ordered it with promised Monday delivery. Unfortunately that went wrong and it was noted as delayed.
This morning I got a message at 06.45 saying the delivery was attempted at 07.15 (chronopost new time travellers service). Evidently wrong. I contacted Amazon and got them to credit my account for the delay and they chased up the actual delivery.
Had to go out and got an SMS saying the delivery was failed as my house number was missing. I hit the roof, filled in the attached form which also contained a demand for an extra delivery fee. My alarm bell rang just in time. It was an arnaque so are they hacking my email, Amazon or chronopost?
I very nearly fell for it…..

Another one today apparently from ULYS. A survey with a free emergency road pack.
Too good to be true? Certainly was. My inner voice stopped me in time.

I often get a message from whatever parcel company telling me a delivery was attempted, and needs rescheduling, however I have never received anything, and seeing as I have not placed any orders it is obviously a scam.
