Crikey, what a to do!!
Meanwhile, I've finally managed to speak to an human being at Chronopost, despite thinking we'd updated the missing address details on their online chat. Trying to spell out our email address for verification, we were both struggling to find what k word could be used, as she kept thinking it was a c. The lady came up with "k pour les Kardashians!" "Oh oui," I replied, laughing out loud, "toute le monde connais les Kardashians!" (Even if we don't like them or follow them!) Finally got the email to work, and hopefully the ruddy ramps will be with us on Tuesday ....
Now someone is going to tell me they've never heard of the Kardashians! (Is that how you spell it?!)
I don't know the proper Echo Tango Bravo stuff - maybe it's not the same in French. I do remember years ago, when working at a paper mill I was struggling to spell out a word to someone. T, I said, T for er ......... Tarantula! My colleagues in the office all gave me a very curious look, but it worked!

Kardashian? I think that's some ugly cow that got an enormous boob job and it made her famous for some reason.
Humanity landed on the moon over fifty years ago but it seems too much to ask for a reliable telephone/internet service in rural France.

Except that as we're in France the front and back change ends and it becomes Alphabet Phonétique International or API!
