Bob in boots

Our old chap has developed a problem in his hip & was doing the splits on the tiled floor.
These non-slip socks have done the job.

Aw, and he wears them ! Doesn't pull them off. I guess he realizes they help him.

Old animals + arthritis + tiles don't really go together, but these boots can certainly make life easier. Our old boy Blaze found the tiles difficult to walk on without doing the splits later in life.

I hope Bob finds life easier wearing these.

I bought some little bootees for Bimbo when she started slipping. They worked brilliantly and she didn't try to take them off.

He seems OK again at the moment. He's got his old bouncy trot back & can jump onto his favourite settee without help. He's not doing the splits so socks not needed now.
Xrays last week showed that his hip/leg? had been previously broken & allowed to set without treatment & now causing pain which is another indication of how the sweet chap was mis-treated in his previous life. Blood tests were OK.
He's still acting a bit weird but, so are we all in this hot weather.
All in all he's responding well to the umpteen pills & potions prescribed by the vet.

Great idea
How do people live without at least one dog in the house?
