We went to friends for apperos last night & took Jessie to see how she'd get on.
Bless her she behaved impeccably even though there were three cats in residence who didn't even protest when Jess commandeered one of their beds.

She's a real gem LAF. It sounds as if she's very well socialised which is great - for her and for you 👍

Yeah, she continues to surprise us.
We often wonder why a sweetie like her was found wandering without collar or chip. We think she was mistreated as she flinched every time she thought we were raising a hand to her but not any longer. :D
Three months in she doesn't seem to have any vices, learns quick, likes every one human or animal &, despite her size, is a perfect house dog.
We seem to have had a lot of luck with what is now the 3rd rescue we've taken on as every one has been a gem.
True what they say about Griffons being great & loyal house dogs. Our last'un Bob & Jess were/are joys to live with.
Next trial the local resto.

We've always taken our doggies to restaurants when on holiday camping - we wouldn't leave them in the tent or caravan, and certainly not in the car in summer ! Never had a problem, always been welcomed, even in a restaurant where the owners had a dog.

Dogs are more acceptable than a lot of people. And better behaved!

+ 1 Wilbro
Dogs are forbidden on many beaches during the summer, but it's not them that leave litter, cigarette butts and... used loo paper :?
