In September I bought a Maine Coon kitten from a registered breeder. As some may know from TOFF, the reasons why I bought a pedigree cat. He's gorgeous, called Sherlock, he's a blue [even though he looks grey]. So far he's been safe from our dogs by living in our bedroom.

On Saturday we are introducing a ginger Norwegian who is 4 months old, he will be called Sykes.

The dogs go berserk when they see a cat, we have other cats, not to eat or kill but to play. Two big labradors are a bit too much for a small kitten.

Some photos

He might weigh between 11 to 15 kg, might be the size of a dachund. His dad was big.

The amount he eats is incredible.

At the moment he is on gastro intestinal food because after having a parasite he has a delicate tummy.... tell him that 🤣

I've only seen photos of MCs and they look HUGE !
He could wreak havoc with a Christmas tree  I can imagine the amount he must need to eat as a growing kitten and once he becomes an adult ...
Kittens and puppies tend to have worms but they soon pass ...
A ginger Norwegian sounds unusual - we had a Norwegian Forest (a rescue) and she was blue. They'e real beauties.

Fortunately I've seen the photos on the other thread (eating less meat) but I've only got a question mark in a box here  How can I get to view them please?
With this hand, I will lift your sorrows. Your cup will never be empty, for I will be your wine. With this candle, I will light your way into darkness. With this ring, I ask you to be mine.........The Corpse Bride

Try clearing your forum cookies - scroll down to the bottom of the page, on the bottom right you'll see a bin with Delete cookies next to it, click on it - then you'll need to log in to the forum again.
Let me know if that works, if not I'll have to think of something else.
