The State pensions - OAP - are, bizarrely, detailed as 'privé'. Which can be confusing.
And a local authority pension - teaching etc - comes under 'public'.

Exactly, in fact I was misinformed last year by the Inspector and have just realized.
He said it was privé and I declared as such.
Not sure what the difference is?
Does it mean it is assumed it will be taxed in the uk (when it isn't) ?

Hopefully a last question.
On the 2047 when declaring dividends from investments it is indicated in the guide to quote 17.7% tax; But no tax is paid on dividends in the UK
So according to the guide, on the figure quoted in 203 the 17.7% result is transferred to 8VL (and 8PL as well ?).
