I was just surprised that you might have had a tax demand without being given details of how to pay. I thought you would declare the gain on your French tax return and then you would be given the details of the tax due and how to pay it but I’m sure that your financial advisor knows best.

I wrote to the Centre des Finances Publiques de Grasse asking for their advice and all we have to do is scan the filled form and transfer a lump of cash to their IBAN. Easy.
