Tax Fonciere bills are appearing online

#1 Post by Headers »

I spotted my TF bill yesterday.
I can’t decide whether I have to actually pay it (in the pay your taxes section) or if they will take the money without me doing anything.
The bill normally appears before the ‘pay your taxes’ section has an entry to process so I’ll have to look again in a few days. I’ve got until 25/10 to work it out.
The main increase is in the rubbish collection section. I’m now paying the equivalent of 1.75 a day for this (I drive most of my rubbish to the déchèterie or dispose of it at home by composting and chipping)

Oh deep joy - that means mine will probably arrive in the post shortly. This is the first year the payment for the new rubbish collection system kicks in, it'll be interesting to see how much that's going to cost.

I don't like opening bills.

Ah .. not thought about that problem before .. but, OTOH, as most of your acquisitions are, on the face of it ruins, then, potentially, their taxe foncière cannot be high ?
And no taxe d'hab to pay either on an empty property.

You are being funny tonight
We owned the hotel this year no idea what that will cost but we are buying a barn opposite that was used for parking and the TF for that is 450.
The hotel was slightly bigger.
We get bills from 35 to 1000 depending on where they are.

But .. can you not get a 'dégrèvement' on some, especially the Hotel as it has been out of commission for a long while ?

If your buying to renovate yes but if it's just been bought and sold a few months later, I would not have thought so.
