Ran out of bread for breakfast toast so made a couple of loaves & knocked out some hot uncrossed buns whilst oven was hot.

While on the subject of bread, why does French sliced bread (Never bought any) not have any crusts? I assume they are turned into something else or fed to the pigs

Weather has been too good here for baking.
Yesterday was so warm we delayed lunchtime BBQ to late afternoon so that the terrace was in the shade.
