Ground-up crickets! And in biscuits, cereal bars and pasta-based products. Not sure how that goes down with vegetarians.

House crickets allowed as food in EU

A European Commission ruling permits the insects in defatted and powdered form to now be added to pizza and pasta-based products

But don't worry, they are starved for 24 hours before slaughter to ensure they are empty of poo!

Is this just an rt.com scam? They do have form for false information - and especially now EU tanks are on their way to the Ukraine.

Edit to add: looks like it is legit

The underlying regulation goes back to 2015 - and the info specific to the cricket is published on official EU site:

Safety of frozen and dried formulations from whole house crickets (Acheta domesticus) as a Novel food pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2015/2283

source: https://www.efsa.europa.eu/en/efsajournal/pub/6779

Yes, RT can be suspect - but they cited the 24th January start date.
