The only thing I wouldn't have is lard in the pastry - yuk 🤢
Do they even sell lard in France?

Is this supposed to be an austerity dish?
Perhaps it's just trying to show that Charlies 'down' with the commoners - personally I wonder if someone's taking the Michael.

Where is it located in the supermarket? By the butter?

I haven't a clue I'm afraid, it's not something I would buy ! It might be found on the charcuterie counter.

It sounds disgusting! No self-respecting French lady would make a quiche without an equal number of egg yolks to whole eggs

Perhaps some French men also make quiche. As well as French women - rather than "ladies"....................

I hate the word 'lady'. I am a woman.

The idea of spinach in a quiche fills me with dread at the moment.
It was served at least 3 times a week in some form or another in the clinique I recently departed. Quiche was one form, omelette and another dish (I have no idea) was another
