Lemon & sugar or maple syrup. My grandsons spead Nutella on them. Yuk.

You've reminded me MAD87 that I still have a bottle of genuine Canadian maple syrup brought over by friends from Canada before Covid. So once I've replenished plain flour and lemons, I'll give the maple syrup a try.

What's for Dinner?

Just strawbs & cream cos today having visited the supermarket at lunchtime there to our surprise was 'Le Cod Pod' 'Foodtruck Mayenne 53' selling fish, chips & mushy peas. Fresh cod beer battered and they fry their own spuds all done whilst you wait. So of course we had to try some and it was absolutely delicious but I'm feeling so stuffed that I don't think I can manage anything else today except the strawbs! I don't think there is anyone on this forum in the Mayenne area but if there is it's Intermarche Lassay-Les-Chateaux on a Friday and Super U Gorron on a Saturday. More than that I can't tell you cos they're on facebook and I'm not! I believe there are some on this forum that contribute to another forum where I know there are some Mayenne holiday homers/permanent residents so hopefully they will see my post and pass on the details as it's a treat not to be missed.
