Declaration des Biens

There is no online contact form so they’ll probably be inundated with requests for face to face appointments.

There is a contact form, you access it through the message service in your space.

I just re-read this statement on the declaration form:

Since our remise is not a local d'habitation we have no obligation to complete any declaration.

Change of mind. Just logged on to impots - declaration des biens - it is available in English. 4 or 5 clicks and it"s done; Dead easy!

Thanks for this tidbit.

I just signed on and there is no owned property noted. I did kinda expect this as we just bought the house last month and the Notaire said it could take up to TWO YEARS for the full registration of the deed. He also said we may not get a taxe fonciere bill for up to TWO YEARS... He said not to be alarmed if this is the case...

I also noted this bit on the link provided above:

I updated our address everywhere the day we signed the paperwork, so our address is correct on the impots site. I'll take them at their word in that there is nothing for me to do. It will be automatically updated when the registration process finalizes.

I certainly hadn't heard about this. Perhaps when you go on line to start your declaration for the impôts it would be flagged up.

This thread is the first I've heard of this. Official notifications of new rules seem to be thin on the ground.
Humanity landed on the moon over fifty years ago but it seems too much to ask for a reliable telephone/internet service in rural France.
