Where is this in France ?

Mas-des-Cours? There is a list with all the transmitter towers in France, the Aude included, and from other sources it looks like that there are 19 watch towers. Also one in Mas des Cours, showing up as having an antenne mobile. And with altitudes between 251 - 493 m. I had a quick look at my 2019 MIchelin Atlas (spiral bound), so many Spanish names, so many hills, so many views....Not the way forward I thought.

Not Mas-des-Cours, but not very far away to the West.

In Google Earth, search for 43° 9'30.92"N 2°11'38.86"E , go into Street View and look North.

The hedges were the same when we were there in 2019, ten years after the Streetview image. It's on the Massif de la Malepère

He was buried at Bazoches before Napoleon reburied his heart at les Invalides, that much I remember from a trip to the Pyrenees near one of his forts
