Drones

#1 Post by L Austin France »

As I've got lots of videos of my land/house etc taken from my radio controlled winged model aircraft but no decent photos I'm thinking of buying a drone for a better & more stable camera platform.
I'm only intending to use it over my own 3Ha of land & to survey the roofs of various buildings on it but is it allowed?
Does anyone know what the law is regarding these things?

What fun .... but I bet after a while you'll want to go further afield ! The bird's eye view gives you such a different perspective !!
You could start by looking at this :

I think there is now an EU weight limit of under 250g unless you register - even above your own land. DJI and others have thus made 249g models.
