These boats are "bisquines", fishing boats originating from the Channel. The one with the black hull is "La Canncalaise" from .... Cancale and the other comes from Granville. These shots were taken with a Lumix bridge camera on it's longest length so the photos look more like paintings - no photo effects or touching up apart from levelling the horizon !

@Lori Thank you Lori ! It's typical of the coast round here - there were loads of people out with the dogs yesterday. We sometimes see dolphins which come in quite close.

iPhone15 - a heck of a lot easier and lighter to carry around than my Pentax !
