This tiny Mairie at Labescau near Mitton in Gironde is temporarily closed - What a surprise!!!

This one is in Couthures sur Garonne has to be accessible by boat as the village, which sits on the banks of the river, floods frequently.

Marmande's splendid Hotel de Ville.

The Mairie at Pellegrue has a magnificent clock tower and sits adjacent to the village's historic Halle.

One of the prettiest and smallest - there are tombs in our local cemetery larger than this - is in Saint Nazaire, Gironde. It's even got an adjacent lending library.
