Concert in red this morning: a last rose, shutters as new in their Burgundy red paint and leaves joining in with their reddish colours:

Autumn is late this year, only a little bit of reddish colours on our side of the lake. The other side was green, not the expected festival of green, yellow and red. After ten minutes the first hit, three trees in different colours. In the woods: wet and green. Boats waiting for a new season, still water reflecting as a mirror.

@ obr

I find some of the pics you took very striking.
Do you use filters or any other form of colour enhancement?
What type of camera ?

@nifty - Thank you, yes l do use various applications to edit my pictures but am always on the look-out for new editing tools. So far l have resisted buying any but that may change if a really good one comes along that is within my price range. Camera wise l am currently using a Digital Single Lens Reflex and an iphone12 with occasional pictures taken with a compact camera.

Here is an example of a picture in its original form

The same picture with the 'Snapseed' application applied

And the same using 'PicsArt'

Which one do you prefer?

@ OBR,

Snapseed app: much sharper, more contrast, trees in the background much more detail, two light green trees (right and left) still light green.

PicsArt app: even brighter, red paint of the boat now light red and the two light green trees more yellow. More autumn.....

I prefer the PicsArt app, assuming that you used standard settings in both apps to get these results. Manual fine-tuning can make a big difference of course.

I'm lazy: almost copy/paste from what my Motorola G-Pro captures. My older pictures are from a Huawei 9 light and a little Panasonic camera DMC-TZ8 with Leica lens.

Not wanting to rain on your parade, but surely the idea of this type of photography is to keep it natural, not to touch up the colours, I was a decent photographer years gone by, the only help I had was a large set of "Cokin" effects and filters, they are still nice but I don't think its in the spirt of things, but that is just my opinion.
