Great pictures Blaze - boats are a wonderful subject for photography, whether on river, sea, canal or high and dry ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š

Thank you Oldblueraincoat - yes, I love hulks. There's a boat graveyard somewhere near here that could be worth a visit. What is it about peeling paint and faded; splintered wood that's so attractive ?!

Lovely shots Blaze. :D

it looks like a lovely area - I'm surprised there aren't loads of people meandering about on the sand.

Thanks guys. Yes, Demi, Portbail is lovely, all sorts of nice buildings, boats, the bridge ..... I'd like to have seen it at high tide.

Once again lovely photos.
Being an ex sailing man it always upsets me to see which were once wonderful boats rotting out on mudflats or sand banks.
Used to sail out of Portchester on down out of Portsmouth harbour to the Solent and the mudflats had loads of wrecks.

Oldblueraincoat Nice shots. Boats and their surroundings have so much of interest in texture and colour. Then there are chains, ropes, breakwaters .... even sad !
