France in Focus

Following on from a discussion on another thread shall we start a photo competition using photos of some of our favourite places in France?

I will go first, the person who gets the location right will then post a photo of their own. If the location isn’t guessed reasonably quickly other clues might need to be given.

Other clues: a major tourist attraction, you can walk around it enjoying une vue imprenable of the surrounding landscape and it is not Winchester Cathedral. Inside this little town interesting architecture.
