Here are a couple of beautiful photos by local photographers of the aurora from last night. The lights were not really visible to the naked eye and photos taken on my phone don't compare with these :

The Aurora always show up better on a picture I am off to the North East UK for the weekend to an aurora hot spot so keeping my fingers crossed

My sister lives in the far north of the Isle of Lewis and this is what she saw last night : It seems to happen pretty often up there !
