Char, probably one of those places where it is easier to check in than to check out or leave..... Not Hotel California. And probably no music for the inmates.

It was a prison!
It is the Panoptic Prison in Autun currently being upgraded(?) for the expansion of the Rolin Museum. It was used in ww2 by the Nazis to hold members of the maquis. It is completely round with an excercise area on the roof with a wooden roof. Sadly it is only open occaisionally.
