According to the DVLA the Alvis was made in 1930, has a 1496 cc engine, is blue, is untaxed, and has been exported. The last V5C issued was 31 May 2005.

My guess is 1928, and not a coupe but a tourer/phaeton.

Before leaving the subject of Montlhéry here is another picture from the 80s. I was racing at the Coupe de l'Age d'Or.
Anyone identify the cars ? I am in front (but not for long!)

Spot on.( It's a MKI). Behind and about to overtake me is a DB4.
A marvellous weekend. Superb hospitality. A night in the hôtel and the entry fee refunded by the organisers and a magnum of champagne.
Another french Aston owner that I met in the parking became a friend and it was he who introduced me to the lady that I subsequently married!
