Roadside Pictures

#1 Post by Oldblueraincoat »

Many of our photos are taken of things we see in passing - some out of the corner of your eye others staring us in the face. Roadside picture taking had become a pleasurable hobby, well at least until the fuel prices skyrocketed, which gave us the opportunity not only to indulge our love of photography but we also get to know some of the many towns and villages hereabouts. Here are some recent examples:

Nice piccies OBR. There are so many occasions when I wish I'd had a camera with me (no smartphone) ... must keep my tiny Nikon in my bag in future.

I love Amsterdam, so many different aspects, beautiful buildings and interesting modern architecture.

@ Blaze, the sound of silence in a snowed city, incredible, so the following picture is without soundtrack:

Nice photos OBR - it was such a beautiful day yesterday. Today, however, very wet, dull and windy. I shan't be venturing anywhere with my camera !
