Many people cross the elastic bits which almost makes wearing a mask pointless as it creates big gaps at the side.
Wearing glasses is no excuse - if the mask is worn high up over the nose and the metal bit tightened, your glasses won't steam up. There are enough of us who have to wear masks and glasses all day and we don't have a problem !
That said, some people have very big faces or thick beards which can make it more difficult to wear a mask as one size definitely doesn't fit all. But they are not the people who cross the ear bits !

I changed my glasses a year ago,the pair up to then didn’t steam up at all ,this pair although similar do ,but as I don’t wear them all they the time and importantly don’t need them for work I manage

Perhaps it does depend on the circumstances, whether you breath is hot and steamy My glasses will steam up if I get really hot and that can be without a mask !
Oh, and if I open the oven door and lean over it ....

I use an anti mist spray from Zeiss. It is effective

I've tried an anti mist spray. It didn't work for me. Not sure what brand though.
@Blaze Hot flushes probably don't help.
I find masks don't fit my face too well. ( They're Too big) They're fine on my OH.

The only way I can stop misting is to make sure the the bottom of my specs is sitting outside the top of the mask. Trouble with that is a bit too high and it impinges on my sight, a bit too low and I need my glasses pitched lower on my nose. Neither is easy or acceptable. Also pulling the mask down once back in the open away from people can yank my specs off completely if I am not careful.

That's a nightmare at the best of times ! With the obligation of putting so much information on the packet, it's sometimes unreadable without a magnifying glass !!

Trust me - it is not unique to the UK. Here we have many idiots (normally falling into two categories) who either fail to mask up or wear it on their chin when it's obligatory on public transport.

Well, last night on the bus the driver stopped, got out, and ordered a group of youths who had just boarded to wear their masks properly - and refused to move off until they had!
