OK - it's just from my highly representative sample of, now, 5 there seems to be a correlation between a reaction to the Moderna vaccine and not having previously contracted Omicron.
I hope I (who has had omicron) makes it 6 out of 6 if I am allowed.

A few months back it was mentioned that I might be asked to take part in research among people who haven’t had it but I haven’t heard anything yet
Anecdotally people who have had it three times are saying 1 and 3 are the worst 2 was bearable

My last two were Modena and no impact whatsoever.
OTOH OH had a sore arm both times and the last time was a bit off colour for 12 hours or so. Neither of us have knowingly had the virus itself.
There may well be side effects but they are far from universal.

No it’s definitely not the same for everyone,a relative was poorly after hers but her husband didn’t have a minutes problem

I've had 5 vaccinations todate, all Pfizer. Slightly sore arm with the first 4, nothing on the fifth which I combined with a flu vaccine.

Having had covid how long do you have to wait before having another jab and would you have to delay the 'flu jab as well?

In the UK you can have the Covid Vaccine 28 days after an infection, the flu vaccine technically shouldn’t be an issue as they are completely different, but you may find that the vaccinator may chose to wait

We’ve not had omicron and have had 2nd booster of Moderna (previously Pfizer)
No reaction save for a mildly sore arm for a few hours

Friday last we both had our flu jabs and I had my 5th covid jab, This one called Comirnaty + Omnicron BA2, flu in the right arm covid in left
The reason for my post is that after catching the covid way back at its start we both have been suffering from long covid, me with back and rump muscles with head aches and was very easily fatigued, mami with caughs, throat and sinus, previous jabs hadn't made any difference.
Last Saturday night I suffered from very bad muscle/joint aches and on sunday bad head aches.
From then I feel a new man with no symptoms what so ever, long may it continue.
Hope that mami has the same results when she has her 5th in January.
