FFP2 masks withdrawn

#1 Post by rabbit »

An article in Connexion states that "FFP2 mask have been withdrawn by French authorities". I have read the French statement and this is only related to FFP2 masks containing graphene.
If this is the case then it is disa[ppointing that Connexion didn't get its facts correct. Quite dangerous.

That's the problem, Rabbit. People will now panic because they will imagine that all FFP2 masks contain graphene because they will get the info from potentially unreliable courses and not bother to check.
Connexion is useful but as you say, it's wise to check against French statements from a reliable source.

The Connection is often wrong due to sloppy reporting and translations.

The destruction of 2 billion FFP2 outdated masks by incineration was completed by the french authorities in the Spring of 2020 on the instructions of the investigating Committee of the French Senate despite a spirited defence by the Lady Health Minister responsible. Some escaped to La Vendée bought 50 or so at a rare carboot. I should have bought more.
The EN norme affected the sealing of the mask rather than filtration efficiency.
Still got half a dozen.

Canada withdrew graphene content KN95s in April this year for consultation with the Chinese Manufacturer. Now on sale again.

The Canadian OK considers only 4 masks produced by Shengquan New Materials.

Graphene is strong, stronger than kevlar stronger than steel.
So unlikely to fall apart.
Graphene is pure and non-toxic iused by the Australians for water. It desalinates and purifies at same time.
So it ain't gonna poison one.
Basically an atomic layer of carbon atoms 0.3 nanometers thick.
So it is highly non carbon neutral.
So good thinking Greta.
So tell those naughty chinese not to export their carbon Debits to France..
