RIP Bonnie Tyler

I was sad to see this. My favourite song of hers was Lost in France before she had to have vocal cord surgery. Fortunately her resulting raspy voice didn't stop her having a huge following, particularly with Total Eclipse of the heart.

Sad. I couldn't really make out what brought her to the hospital. The news has not been very clear on that. This is all I saw:

"In May, Tyler, from Skewen in south Wales, was placed into an induced coma after having emergency intestinal surgery in Portugal."

May she RIP.

I've read "Bonnie was also being treated for a ruptured appendix, which is a severe medical emergency requiring immediate surgical intervention and antibiotics to a prevent fatal infection.
When an infected appendix ruptures, it creates a hole and causes fecal matter and bacteria to leak into the abdominal cavity"
