It's like the Wild West over there. Until Covid and incompetent Tory government antics took over the news there were several stabbings a week.
Humanity landed on the moon over fifty years ago but it seems too much to ask for a reliable telephone/internet service in rural France.

When I first saw it on the news I said to OH that he must be in hospital then later I read that he'd died I felt quite sick - I feel so sorry for his family. Why oh why?

The breaking news said he had multiple wounds,that he was being treated at the scene and the Air Ambulance was on site,I guessed then that his chances were poor as he must have been too unstable to move

I was online looking at the I when it happened, the live report was that emergency services were operating on him at the site as he couldn't be moved.
