Shopping around here, It's rare to see anyone without a mask.
If someone comes through the shop door without one, a " masque s'il vous plait" will get shouted at them from the till. Causing everyone to turn and look. No doubt with a condescending expression. It works!

l did that with one chap in a queue opposite and he immediately pulled it up.
I've forgotten twice and hardly stepped over the threshold when a bellow that could be heard throughout the store ensued from the till area "masque monsieur". Felt a right pillock.

It's become second nature to me now - as soon as we stop the car I pop one (well two actually) on before I get out.
I've also got one on a coat peg by the front door, which I pop on if I have to go and see the postie or someone.
