Mobile A/C

Can anyone recommend a good performing mobile air cooling unit. I paid 280€ for one about 4 years ago and it doesn’t do the job (8000btu) in a small room of < 20m2

Not a daft question unless one intends on trying to cool the garden. Sounds like you're suggesting it's OK to leave the fridge door open

If it’s a mobile unit you need to vent the hot air out and collect the water that it produces. The venting part can be an issue.

Just the opposite. If you close the fridge door why would you not close windows and doors in the room to be cooled.
